How we work

A disciplined path from readiness to continuous improvement.

Every engagement follows the same five-phase method: Discover, Design, Build, Launch and Evolve. The sequence begins by establishing readiness across data, process and decision rights before pricing software delivery begins.

Why readiness first

Pricing software works. We implement it, we like it, and we have seen it transform a P&L. What we have also seen — repeatedly — is a capable platform sitting unused because nobody fixed the cost model, agreed who owns a discount, or gave sales a reason to trust the number on the screen.

So we refuse to start with configuration. Every engagement begins with an honest assessment of data, process and organizational appetite. Sometimes that assessment tells a client not to buy anything yet. That conversation is why they come back.

Who owns what

The single biggest predictor of how long a pricing implementation takes is not technical. It is how quickly your organization can make a decision and make it stick.

In a spreadsheet world, discount authority lives in phone calls and institutional memory, and that works. The moment it becomes a workflow, every one of those informal agreements has to become explicit — who approves 5%, who approves 12%, whether it changes by product, tier or country. Those are organizational design questions, not technical ones, and they take longer than the configuration does.

So we treat requirements governance as its own workstream with its own time and sponsorship, rather than as a byproduct of the build. It is the difference between a platform people use and a platform people work around.

Division of labour

We own
The assessment, workshop facilitation, configuration, integration and enablement
You own
The decisions — authority thresholds, margin floors, who signs off on what
We ask for
An executive sponsor who can settle a disagreement between two business units
You get
Documented decisions, not just a configured system. The reasoning outlives the project.

The RevSeekr method

Five phases, in this order, every time.

The sequence is not a product upsell. It is how failed pricing projects get avoided. The uncomfortable part is that Discover sometimes ends with us telling you not to buy software yet.

Why clients bring us in

Six reasons, none of them a slide.

01

Pricing is the whole practice

Enterprise B2B pricing is what we do. We are not a general IT shop with a pricing brochure attached.

02

Readiness before configuration

We will not start by loading rules into a platform if the cost model, authority or data will not support them. That is the work most projects skip and then pay for twice.

03

Commercial and technical in one team

Pricefx configuration alongside ERP, CRM and BI integration — and the business language to sit with pricing, finance and sales in the same room.

04

Americas, English and Spanish

Delivery across North America and Latin America, including workshops and training in both languages.

05

The people who scope do the work

No bait-and-switch handoff from a sales deck to a different delivery bench you have never met.

06

Honest about outcomes

We use industry research to frame what pricing programs can unlock. We size your opportunity on your data. We do not invent performance claims to close a conversation. How we talk about results →

What each phase produces.

The documents and working sessions of each phase. Kits marked available can be sent after a short conversation about where you are; the rest we produce inside the engagement, with you in the room.

Judge the thinking

We publish what we have learned in the open, including the parts that went wrong. It is a more useful test of whether we know this work than anything we could say about ourselves here.

The conversation

Ask us the question you don't want a vendor to answer.

Whether the data can hold the rules, what the program needs before anyone configures software, and whether buying a platform now is the right move at all. Sometimes the honest answer is not yet.
